1. Who we are

Vida Training Center, 4355 W 16 Ave Ste 211, Hialeah, FL 33012, United States, is the data controller for personal data processed through CNA Skill Buddy. Contact: it@vidatrainingcenter.com · 786-316-7106.

2. Personal data we collect and why

• Account data (email address, name if provided, login credentials managed by our authentication provider) — to create and secure your account and give you access. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Entitlement and order records (access source, grant and expiry dates, payment transaction reference, amount, currency) — to grant and manage your 90-day access and keep business records. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
• Student list data (enrolled student emails and when access was claimed) — to administer free access for enrolled Vida Training Center students. Legal basis: legitimate interests in preventing misuse.
• Study progress (skills reviewed, quiz results) — stored in your browser to personalize your studying. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical and security data (IP address, device/browser information, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and service reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment data is collected directly by Stripe, our payment processor, through its secure checkout.

3. Who we share data with

• Payment processor: Stripe, Inc., which processes your payment securely. Stripe receives the information needed to complete the transaction and is bound by its own privacy policy.
• Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database and authentication providers used to run the Service.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention

Account and entitlement data is kept while your account exists and for up to 7 years after your last purchase where needed for tax and accounting records. Security logs are kept for a short period. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or request restriction of certain processing, request a copy of your data, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Florida and other applicable US state privacy laws may give you additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Email it@vidatrainingcenter.com and we will respond within the time required by law (normally within 30 days).

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database and restricted administrative access.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to save your study progress and language preference on your device. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this data in your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out and clear saved progress.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adult students and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this notice. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
